Orientation Program A.Y. 2023-24 Report




Dnyan Vikas Sanstha's Adv. P. C. Patil Law College organised its First Orientation program of A.Y. 2023-24, for first batch of our collge of both Three Years and Five Years Law Course on 28th October, 2023 in Seminar Hall of our Law College building.The event started with the National Anthem. Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, I/c Principal, felicitated Adv. P.C. Patil sir, Founder Chairman, D.V.S., Adv. Prasad Patil sir, Chairman, D.V.S. and all dignitaries and Law college Professors with a bouquet of flowers.

Welcome address was delivered by Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, I/c Principal, where she introduced all dignitaries and spoke about the Chairman's vision for Law College also promised that the college will be well-known not only in Navi Mumbai but also in Maharashtra. She also spoke about the efforts taken by management to start 3 years and 5 years law courses.

Adv. Prasad Patil (Chairman, D.V.S.) welcomed all the students and made us aware of the struggle and challenges to open the Adv. P.C. Patil Law College. He assured all students that the required educational services would be provided and additionally, student's suggestions for any development would be appreciated. Adv. P. C. Patil, Founder Chairman, D.V. S., told us about the struggle in his initial days for education. He took it as a social responsibility and after so many years of hard work and dedication, he successfully build a School, college and his dream of opening a Law college was fulfilled this year. Sir's speech inspired all students and staff. The event was hosted by Shivani Sadade, F.Y. LL.B. student.

A vote of Thanks was given by Archana Patil, F.Y. LL.B. student, who on behalf of Law College thanked the management, Teaching, and non-teaching staff, who spared time from their busy schedule and encouraged everyone with the inspired journey, and enlightened our minds. The national song " Vande Mataram" was played with the closure of the Orientation Program.

Afterwards, Fresher's Party, started with a birthday celebration of Mrs. Jayashree Patil (Director, DVS and President of Mahila Aaghadi) who later spoke about her struggle during the initial days. Her speech really motivated students and gave a clear message that hard work is always appreciated. After a short snack break, we started with our cultural event.

Our first participant was Mr. Ganesh Shelar who sang a Marathi Abhanga - "Omkar swarupa sadguru samartha".

Our second participant was Ms. Madhuri Mohite who sang a Marathi song - "Hichi chal turu turu".

Our last participant was Mr. Vinayak More who danced on a Bollywood song - "Hawao ne yeh kaha".

Later students enjoyed dancing to various songs and the party ended with a great joy.
